2e^x represents exponential growth similar to e^x, but scaled by a factor of 2. It grows twice as fast for every unit increase in x compared to regular exponential growth.

Analogy

Imagine two bacteria populations growing under different conditions. One population doubles every hour while the other doubles every half-hour. The second population has faster exponential growth due to being scaled by a factor of 2.
